Amadeus in Sync with Q-SYS

Amadeus Acoustics will be showcasing its new Q-SYS plugin integration, Amadeus Acoustics Plugin. As a contributor to the Q-SYS Ecosystem, Amadeus Acoustics collaborated with Q-SYS to create a market-ready control solution that integrates seamlessly into Q-SYS, a cloud-manageable audio, video, and control platform.

The plugin forms part of Amadeus’s integrated solutions which enable users to locate, track, and seamlessly distribute both virtual and real sound sources. Depending on the channel count and installed components, an Amadeus system can accommodate several inputs and outputs and users can control and monitor sound sources, including their shapes, sizes, and precise positioning.

To streamline integration and control, the Amadeus Acoustics Plugin is available for the Q-SYS system via the Q-SYS Asset Manager – essentially an app store for Q-SYS Cores. This free plugin provides powerful tools for managing Amadeus’s integrated solutions, allowing control over acoustic presets, volume (including mute functionality), and the positions of 3D audio inputs. It also supports saving 3D audio input positions and acoustic presets as snapshots.

Amadeus’s integrated solutions and the Q-SYS plug-in are fully synchronised, enabling real-time display of the active preset and its status. The plug-in supports up to 100 acoustic presets and 64 3D source positions, with comprehensive controls for X, Y, Z coordinates, shape, and panning algorithms – all of which can be saved in Q-SYS snapshots. Volume and mute functions are also fully manageable.

This plug-in makes it easier than ever to leverage the full capabilities of Amadeus’s integrated solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience and unparalleled audio customisation.

Key features of the ART platform

• Acoustic Preset Control: Manage up to 100 Acoustic Presets, with intuitive display of the currently activated preset and status.
• 3D Audio Input Positioning: Control up to 64 3D source positions, including X, Y, Z coordinates, shape, and pan algorithm. These settings can be saved as snapshots within the plugin.
• Volume and Mute Control: Easily adjust and mute volume levels.
• Synchronisation with the Amadeus ART platform: The Amadeus ART platform communicates with the plugin to ensure real-time updates and functionality.
