
Venue Sales Coordinator
Microhire (Brisbane)
We are on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Venue Sales Coordinator to join our team at Microhire. This role will be based at the Westin in Brisbane and will involve selling cutting-edge audio-visual technologies to corporate clients. As the successful candidate, you will possess a thorough knowledge of event and hospitality sales, and an understanding of event technology would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
– Respond to client inquiries and offer technical advice and support related to lighting, audio and visual equipment.
– Achieve sales growth by promoting cutting-edge audio visual concepts to our corporate clients.
– Prepare customized proposals, floor plans, and sales presentations to impress clients.
– Attend site inspections to represent and promote Microhire’s services.
– Work closely with the technical team to design and deliver top-quality productions.
– Provide outstanding customer service to clients throughout the sales process.
– Collaborate with other teams at Microhire to ensure a seamless delivery of services to clients.
Experience & Requirements:
– Previous experience in a similar role.
– An understanding of the event and hospitality industry
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
– Computer literate with RentalPoint software knowledge being advantageous.
– Prior experience in creating floorplans using Microsoft Visio or any CAD software.
– Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
– Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
– Passionate about the events industry and all things AV.
