Role Purpose

As the State Manager for Queensland your overall goal is to manage and grow Crestron accounts & relationships in the region. Reporting to the Executive VP ANZ you will be responsible for driving business growth in the existing channel. Ideally you will already be well connected in the technology space and be aware of the major players and influencers. The role is based in Brisbane and will require occasional travel within Queensland, Northern Territory and Australia.

You have a direct report in Brisbane, a Technical Director who is your local technical resource for demonstrations, POC’s, system designs and informal training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our brand activities with a named account list
  • Develop & grow relationships with customers via various direct methods with a focus on face to face meetings
  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
  • Meet set KPI’s for any sales programs implemented
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
  • Meet and exceed sales goals

Required Competencies

  • Focused on relationship building, and passionate about our brand.
  • Self-driven, results orientated
  • An ability to work, plan & execute independently
  • Senior Sales/BDM experience within the AV/UC technology industry
  • Excellent presentation skills and a strong understanding of corporate culture and best business practices
  • Proven track record of success, negotiating and closing deals
  • A clear understanding of Crestron’s play & positioning in the space
