Panasonic Projector & Display Corporation has acquired 100% of the issued shares of UK-based media technology company Hive Media Control Ltd. This strategic move reinforces Panasonic’s commitment to delivering integrated visual ecosystems—combining projection, LED, display and advanced media playback and control for professional and immersive applications, as part of its broader evolution beyond a hardware-focused business model.

Hive Media Control Ltd. is a fast-growing media technology company recognized for its work on high-profile immersive experiences including BBC Earth Experience, the National Museum of Qatar and Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel exhibition. Its compact, scalable media server and control platform enables complex visual deployments across exhibitions, museums and visitor attractions, with flexible, SDM-based architecture designed for seamless integration and an open, vendor-neutral ecosystem.
