Crestron introduces a new low-cost HDMI switcher and extender pair that fills the need for a reliable presentation solution for small meeting rooms, huddle rooms, and classrooms.
The number of huddle rooms and small meeting rooms is on the rise. As a result, the need for a simple, complete, low-cost multimedia presentation solution has been created, and the HD-MD-400-C-E sets out to fulfil that need. The unit features HDBaseT extension, a scaler, automatic switching up to 2K resolutions, display control, and Ethernet connectivity to make use of Crestron Fusion enterprise management software.
Composed of a transmitter and HD receiver, it only takes a few minutes to install the HD-MD-400-C-E. The transmitter can be mounted under a table or inside a podium. Its dual-HDMI, VGA, and analogue audio inputs support the connection of various devices and media sources. The receiver, which features an additional HDMI input, can be mounted behind the room display or above the projector. Both devices are powered together using a single wall mount power pack which can be connected with at the receiver or at the transmitter location. Power is carried between the two over the HDBaseT connection.
