INTEGRATE 2016 PREVIEW: SILICONCORE LED DISPLAYS
SiliconCore will present its new Camellia 0.95mm LED display at Integrate 2016 at stand B39. You’ll also be able to experience the company’s array of other ultra fine pixel pitch displays at the expo.
SiliconCore’s first sub-1mm pixel pitch display will be showcased in Full HD resolution at an 82-inch diagonal size. SiliconCore’s Common Cathode technology has made the entrance into the sub-1mm pitch possible. This technology allows for a reduction in power consumption by up to 30%, reducing the heat output of the displays, thereby removing the need for additional cooling.
Glenn Bailey, Vice President APAC at SiliconCore explains:
“This marks the first time that the Camellia 0.95mm LED display will be showcased in Australia so it’s a great opportunity for integrators to get up close and personal with the product and witness our technology first hand. In addition to Common Cathode technology, our next generation of chips power 640 pixels per chip; a benchmark that represents a doubling in the scan rate, a four-fold increase in processing speed and a five-fold increase in pixel processing per driver. This is crucial for maintaining perfect image and video quality without sacrificing elements like brightness or contrast whereas other manufacturers may be forced into compromises.”
Visitors to Integrate will also have the opportunity see firsthand the advances of LED for direct view applications as the award winning Lavender 1.2mm will be presented in 2K resolution, with a minimum recommended viewing distance of just 1m. This advance in image quality combined with true seamlessness is ideal for corporate, command and control, simulation and retail environments.
The Orchid 1.9mm LED display, designed with broadcast, retail and control room installations in mind, will be presented in Full HD resolution and visible from any angle of approach for 160⁰ viewing.
