Epson Goes Big into Rental Market

Epson continues to push up into the high-brightness projection market, making steady inroads into the rental and staging market, as well as duking it out in the larger install settings. Epson gave Australia its first look at the brightest 3LCD Epson projector to date, the 30,000 lumens EB-L30000UNL, which boasts a ‘maintenance-free’ laser light source that provides 20,000 hours of operation. The EB-L30000UNL supports screen sizes of up to 1000 inches with a WUXGA resolution and 4K enhancement technology, as well as a 2,500,000:1 contrast. It is a body-only system that provides a choice of 4K optional lenses designed for a variety of applications. Its compact design and 360° installation potential simplifies installation to suit the needs of different environments. The projector was showcased in Sydney at Epson’s Productivity and Efficiency launch event ahead of its Australian launch in 2020. The powerful EB-L30000UNL produces impressive laser image quality – rich colours, high contrast, clear whites, defined shadow detail and deep blacks.

Also showcased at the Productivity and Efficiency event was Epson’s new installation laser projector, the compact 7000 lumens EB-L1070UNL workhorse. As with the EB-L30000UNL, it features 4K enhancement technology and interchangeable lenses. On this occasion, the projector was teamed with the ELPLX01 ultra-short throw lens that features zero lens offset, projecting images parallel to the position of the lens. A minimalist, discreet design and quieter fan noise ensure that the EB-L1070UNL fits seamlessly into a wide variety of environments. The EB-L1070UNL projector is also able to seamlessly project a uniformed colour, using its in-built colour adjustment function.
