Biamp is introducing several new products and updates for the Pro AV market.

Biamp Parlé Presenter Lift:

Uses ceiling mounted Parlé microphones to pick up and reinforce presenter voices without the need for conventional podium, handheld, or over ear microphones. Parlé Presenter Lift uses Parlé beam forming microphones combined with sophisticated signal processing to improve gain, while suppressing feedback, to give presenters all the benefits of traditional presenter mics with none of the hassles. Paired with a new algorithm inside Tesira digital signal processors (DSPs) that improves feedback suppression, these features enhance the capability of current Parlé ceiling microphones and Tesira DSPs to address more complex use cases and room configurations.

Biamp Conferencing and Scheduling Updates:

The Vidi Content Cam 250 features a specialized 4K content camera designed to make hybrid whiteboard collaboration truly equitable, purpose-built for the Microsoft Teams Rooms Content Camera feature.

Further enhancing the conferencing experience for BYOM rooms are Biamp People Gallery Tiles and Room View technology, now bringing AI-powered video intelligence to both the Vidi 280 and Parlé VBC 2800 all-in-one conferencing bar, even used without a UC room system.

The EasyConnect MPX 250 addresses the growing need for flexible content sharing and the ability to make BYOM video calls in meeting spaces of all sizes, using the power of USB-C to connect, share, charge, or make a video call. Building on the MPX 200, the updated solution supports daisy-chaining up to four units for 16-device connectivity and dual display support for any size meeting space.

What’s New in Biamp Workplace:

The Biamp Workplace cloud-based management and monitoring platform now addresses more stages of the customer journey, from the initial design stages, through deployment, tuning, and optimization. Four new features boost system management and user experience: Location View, Workplace Designer, Workplace Command, and Workplace Tools.

  • Location View: Quickly identify issues by pinpointing exact locations of affected equipment via floorplan maps
  • Workplace Designer: Leverage the Conference Room Designer software directly within the cloud-based Biamp Workplace to save and reuse designs anywhere, anytime.
  • Workplace Command: A unified ecosystem for managing AV environments that eliminates the need to troubleshoot simple problems in person.
  • Workplace Tools Mobile App: Enables fast, contactless setup and troubleshooting for on-site AV technician tasks, including the option to use Near field Communication (NFC) technology in smartphones for contactless Voltera ALC information retrieval.
