EPIPHAN ANZ DISTRIBUTOR APPOINTED

Sydney-based AP Technologies has been appointed Epiphan’s major distributor in Australia and New Zealand, in Epiphan’s first distribution agreement in the region. AP has been a primary reseller for the US video capture, recording and streaming systems brand for the past few years.

“Under this agreement they will work with the team in a role that further expands our presence in the ANZ market,” said Epiphan channel sales director Louise McEvoy. “AP Technologies has a local presence in ANZ, allowing them to recruit other resellers and systems integrators to represent the Epiphan portfolio, which will increase our exposure and ability to sell to local customers.”

AP Technologies managing director Andrew Paton said, “Working with Epiphan in a distributor role allows us to help define the strategy for ANZ and grow the AV market. We’ve seen significant growth in display capture, streaming, broadcasting and recording. Our resellers and their end customers, particularly in the education, government and healthcare verticals, recognise the benefits of this important technology and our goal is to reach these markets and help them build their AV solutions with the Epiphan portfolio.”
