MSolutions returns to the tradeshow circuit with three big innovations at InfoComm 2021. The company’s test solutions and applications will be the exclusive focus at InfoComm, with an emphasis on compliance and quality testing for the AV industry’s next-generation formats and specifications.

Exhibiting at the Murideo (2909) and HDBaseT Alliance booths (2824), MSolutions will demonstrate its ultra-high-speed test innovations for HDMI and HDBaseT infrastructure, including 8K 48Gpbs qualification for HDMI cables and HDBaseT Spec 3.0 compatibility. Using MSolutions HCT (HDMI Cable Tester) module, technicians can run full compatibility and sweep tests with near immediate results, and verify if the connected HDMI cables can support ultra-high-speed transfer.

MS-TestPro users can now also test ultra-high-speed uncompressed infrastructure and confirm HDBaseT Spec 3.0 compatibility with the MS-TestPro MS104B DCR (DC Resistance) module. The DCR module will offer a detailed analysis of the results along with a simple pass/fail test to quickly confirm Spec 3.0 compliance of the AV infrastructure, which includes long-distance, high-bandwidth (18Gbps) distribution of uncompressed video and audio.

MSolutions is the first company to support both applications and enable them in a common device according to CEO Eliran Toren, adding that technicians are now well-prepared to test the integrity of AV infrastructure, and support for UHD formats, for years to come.

“MSolutions remains the only company that can qualify HDMI 4K signal integrity on the physical layer, and we have now prepared our customers for the future with 8K qualification,” he said. “The world saw the arrival of 8K with the Summer Games, and we are gradually watching 8K interest take shape in the AV industry through video walls, digital signage and advanced display technology. The HDBaseT 3.0 specification will also soon become standard in the residential market, light commercial market (bars, hotels, restaurants) and government facilities that benefit from the reliability and robustness of matrixed architectures. We look forward to demonstrating our latest pioneering innovations for AV integrators, tech managers, custom installers and end users as we return to InfoComm.”

The user experience (UX) will be on the mind for many at InfoComm, and MSolutions will unveil its fully refreshed and redesigned GUI for the MS-TestPro in alignment with the latest UX trends. The new GUI offers a more intuitive and responsive experience, along with accessible features that simplify and accelerate the testing and certification process — whether using the device’s touchscreen or web-connected platforms.

Less clutter and more legible menus simplify navigation for technicians while working on HDBaseT, HDMI and AVoIP projects. As the only company to support all three architectures — plus DC Resistance — in one device, MSolutions has emphasised prominent displays of the main functions and highlighted features for each on the home screen, along with straightforward visual enhancements that guide users through test, certification and other processes faster.

MSolutions will have an exclusive station on the Murideo and HDBaseT Alliance booths from October 27-29 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. For those not attending InfoComm, information on the MS-TestPro device, its new GUI, and all MS-TestPro modules including HCT and DCR is available on its website.
