About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity presents for an Audio-Visual Estimator to join Programmed, working within our Electrical Technologies team. Based in Collingwood, you will be responsible for the design, estimations and tenders proposals for medium to large scale projects in VIC across Defense, Government, Commercial and Financial sectors.
Additionally, you will assist the company in securing projects by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders by accurately and efficiently estimating project costs and timelines that meet the company’s profit targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to prepare accurate AV system estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams to assess requirements and ensure accuracy of estimates.
- Identify and source the best equipment, materials, and resources for each project.
- Provide clear and comprehensive cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, and other project-related expenses.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and lead time information.
- Evaluate changes in project scope and adjust estimates as necessary.
- Work with the project management team to track budgets and timelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in AV systems.
To succeed in this role, ideally you will have experience in a similar role with in-depth knowledge of audio-visual systems, equipment and technologies and be driven to deliver exceptional results. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Current Driver’s License
- First-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- A strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
