As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for experienced AV Service Technicians who are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality AV support, commissioning, servicing, and basic programming across a range of client environments.
Working closely with our Service, Projects, Engineering, and Estimating teams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring AV systems are reliable, functional, and delivered to the highest standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
Service & Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV, control, and network-related issues onsite and remotely
- Respond to service calls and manage support tickets
- Provide technical support and system diagnostics to internal teams and clients
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding scheduling, updates, and solutions
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
Commissioning & Programming
- Configure, commission, and test AV and control systems
- Verify system functionality against project requirements
- Modify and maintain AV control programming and user interfaces
- Troubleshoot and refine existing control code
- Document programming files, IP details, configurations, and test results
General Responsibilities
- Deliver client training on AV system operation
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Review installation quality and contribute to process improvements
- Assist with technical input for estimates and project planning
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
- NSW Construction White Card
- Relevant AV vendor certifications
- Crestron and Extron certifications are required
- ACMA Cabler’s Licence (desirable)
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in AV service, support, commissioning, or programming
- Strong understanding of AV, AV-over-IP, control systems, and AV/IT integration
- Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting AV control systems
- Ability to read schematics, drawings, and system documentation
- Hands-on experience with rack builds, integration, firmware updates, and networking
- Basic Crestron programming experience
- Australian work authorisation is required
