Electro Acoustic / Audio Design Engineer

About the Role:
TAG is seeking an experienced and motivated Electro Acoustic Audio Design Engineer to join our dynamic Systems Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to provide nationwide support to our customers and internal sales team, delivering detailed technical accosting designs and support. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with strong communication skills, a people-oriented mindset, and the drive to produce system designs to our high company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing Electro Acoustic proof of concept models using AFMG EASE, EASE Focus and EASE Address.
• Designing Audio/ Video / Control System using our market leading Q-SYS platform
• Providing Electro Acoustic and Audio/ Video / Control technical support
• You will also be working closely with other departments so good team skills are essential

Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary/ Vocational Education in the Audio or Acoustics field or experience in the System Integrator/Live Production industries
• Experience in Acoustic modelling software (EASE or manufacturer-specific software)
• Technical knowledge in Loudspeakers, Amplifiers and Audio/ Video / Control systems.
• Ability to use 2D/3D CAD Software such as Draftsight, AutoCad or VISIO will be advantageous
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Organised and tidy nature
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility in your role
• Must have permanent work rights in Australia
