About the Role: 

Join our expanding team in the exciting role of AV Estimator/Pre-sales Engineer. You will be instrumental in creating estimations and tenders for projects spanning Australia and NZ. Acting as the bridge between clients and our sales team, you’ll communicate effectively, creating detailed system designs, compiling comprehensive bills of materials, and providing the verbiage and visuals essential for crafting compelling proposals. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the engineering aspects of projects pre-deployment, allowing you to play a significant. strategic role in the entire process.

About You:

  • Proven experience in estimating and pre-sales engineering, specifically in AV systems for corporate and education settings.
  • A passion for staying informed of industry trends and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external teams and stakeholders.
  • A current driver’s license is essential.
  • Experience in estimating software is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales personnel and clients, including site visits when required, to assess project information and requirements.
  • Support the sales team by providing technical assistance in the creation, qualification, and validation of proposals.
  • Design audio-visual systems and generate accurate bills of materials.
  • Provide verbiage and images to assist the sales team in proposal creation.
  • Support the engineering aspects of projects before deployment.
  • Stay current on legislations, regulations, and standards to ensure up-to-date knowledge.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers as required.
