City Recital Hall has long been the go-to destination for exceptional classical music. With a strong investment into production, programming and technical, City Recital Hall is changing to become the go to destination for Live Music. We are maintaining our strong classical offerings and expanding to an exceptional program of contemporary music.

We are looking for a Production Manager in a permanent, ongoing role to help lead this change and make City Recital Hall an exceptional destination for Contemporary music. You are a proactive problem solver ready to manage and deliver Sydney’s best live concert experiences. You enjoy being actively involved in Sydney’s nightlife and the flexibility that comes with evening and weekend performances.

To be considered for this position you should possess:

  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, problem solve and lead calmly under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, diplomacy, customer service and communication skills
  • Experience and confidence working with visiting touring personnel and artists
  • Knowledge and experience to translate non-technical requests into solutions
  • Understanding of the live performance industry, with a genuine passion for live music
