Midwich Australia is proud to announce the expansion of its vendor portfolio with the inclusion of Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems.

“We are very excited at the opportunities this new partnership with Midwich brings,” shared Matthew Packer, Sales Development Director, APAC for Biamp Systems. “Having Midwich as our partner for Australia and New Zealand will enable Biamp to continue delivering exceptional customer service in a key region.”

Biamp is dedicated to creating products that drive the evolution of communication through sound and video. The Biamp product suite includes:

  • Tesira media system for digital audio and video networking
  • Audia digital audio platform
  • Nexia digital signal processors
  • Oreno mobile control software for Tesira-equipped conference rooms
  • Devio collaboration tool for modern workplaces, and
  • Vocia networked public address and voice evacuation system.

Recently, Biamp introduced the much-anticipated TesiraLux, which brings low-latency 4K networked video distribution to the Tesira platform by transporting both audio and video signals over a single network with AVB/TSN.

Each Biamp product range has its own specific feature set that can be customised and integrated in a wide range of applications, including corporate boardrooms, conference centres, huddle rooms, performing arts venues, courtrooms, hospitals, transportation hubs, campuses, and multi-building facilities.

“Australia and New Zealand represent an important region for Biamp Systems. Midwich shares our passion and vision to provide exceptional AV solutions, especially with the emergence of enterprise-level networked media systems and unified collaboration,” stated Jim Seretis, Biamp Systems’ Consultant Liaison and Business Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

“Biamp is an engineering-led company that’s well-respected in the AV industry for its innovation and reliability,” commented Michael Broadbent, Managing Director Midwich ANZ. “It’s also a perfect fit within the Midwich Australia stable of premium AV brands. We’re looking forward to serving existing Biamp clients in this region and excited to launch Biamp’s Devio and TesiraLux into the ANZ marketplace.”

The new partnership commences 21st July 2016.
