DB TECHNOLOGIES UPDATES DVA T FIRMWARE

dB Technologies DVA T users can benefit from a new updated version of DVA T8 and T12 firmware. Essentially, the update introduces Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters, with the benefit being cleaner crossover points, and high/mid frequency compensation. A linear-phase crossover also allows better coupling between arrayed modules. The optional update allows DVA T systems to maintain better high frequency coherence in an array, resulting in better sound performance even at further distances. The firmware update must be made through dB Technologies’ Network control software.

dB Technologies has also released a new version of its Composer prediction software, available now from company’s website.
