HELEN MEYER’S LETTER TO MEYER SOUND CUSTOMERS IN AUSTRALIA
It was a shock to the industry to hear that Meyer Sound had pulled the plug on Meyer Sound Australia, parting company with Australian Meyer stalwarts Harley Richardson and Steve Devine. In her letter to the Australian market, Helen Meyer urges their customers to hang tight until alternative arrangements have been made.
“We are taking this opportunity to take a fresh look at our distribution model in Australia and New Zealand with the intent of improving customer service and technical support,” wrote Helen. “We expect to announce the sales and distribution plan by the end of the year. In the interim, please know that our dealer network will ensure a seamless transition.”
Key persons from Meyer’s global leadership team will visit Australian customers in upcoming months in preparation for a new customer service and distribution program down under. In addition, John and Helen Meyer are hosting a regional customer event in Singapore on November 3rd.
Helen went on to write: “John and I want to personally assure you that your business is important to us and that we will do our absolute best to ensure a smooth transition in our technical support, design services and sales as we prepare to introduce a new customer service and distribution program. We greatly appreciate your business and look forward to hearing from you directly as to how we can better serve Australia and New Zealand. These are exciting times at Meyer Sound and we look forward to a long future together down under!”
