ClearOne has introduced Unite 150, a professional PTZ camera for PC-based video conferencing, web conferencing, and UC applications. It pairs perfectly with applications such as Cisco Jabber and WebEx, GoToMeeting, Google Hangouts, Microsoft Skype for Business, ClearOne’s Spontania, and more. With Full HD resolution and advanced 2D and 3D noise reduction, the 12x built-in optical zoom provides close-ups with plenty of clarity, while the 73° wide-angle view enables Unite 150 to capture all participants in a meeting room for both small and large meeting spaces. The camera is compatible with both USB 2.0 and 3.0.

“The Unite 150 USB camera fits a wide variety of meeting room applications at a price significantly lower than competitive models,” ClearOne Senior Director of Product Line Management for UC and Media Collaboration Bala Krishnamoorthy said. “Businesses increasingly are seeking PC-based video and web conferencing applications for meeting rooms — and the solution is the Unite 150 USB camera, for its optimum quality and enterprise-class video at an unbeatable price.”

ClearOne also introduced a duo of compact yet powerful interface expanders, Converge Pro 2 USB and Converge Pro 2 GPIO, that increase the number of ports available for conferencing connectivity and room control for all Converge Pro 2 DS mixers.

The new expanders are being demonstrated at InfoComm (Booth 3421), June 14-16 in Orlando. The USB expander acts primarily as a USB audio interface, connecting a laptop directly to the room’s professional-quality audio with familiar PC-based video conferencing applications, including ClearOne Spontania, Google Hangouts, Skype for Business, WebEx, or any other cloud-based applications. It also can be used to share the DSP mixer resources across multiple rooms. The GPIO Expander provides a dozen input and output pins to control in-room devices such as microphones, cameras, window coverings, and lights. As many as three USB expanders and three GPIO expanders can be daisy-chained per Converge Pro 2 mixer — in any order — to further

increase USB connectivity and room-control options. The new Converge Pro 2 Expanders are shipping at the end of August 2017.
