Key Firmware Updates Enrich Feature Sets

Two Marshall firmware updates to improve tracking and colour matrix

By

21 April 2022

Marshall has added Free-D protocols to the CV730 robotic PTZ Cameras. Through this firmware update the CV730 cameras will feed back tracking data over IP back to command central using the industry standard Free-D protocol. This enables the cameras to directly respond with Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Focus, Iris and Axis position in real time, making VR/AR production more effective without the addition of other tracking devices or systems.

The company has also added Color Matrix to their CV566, CV568, CV366, and CV368 range. Through this firmware update the Genlock Cameras get deeper control of colour, and the colour matching of other cameras in the broadcast production workflow.
