Telehealth was introduced in 2020 as a response to COVID-19. Since then, more than 100 million services have been delivered via Telehealth, and what was supposed to be a temporary measure is now very much here to stay. Having access to medical care 24 hours, seven days a week is essential for general and chronic care management, and has created a profound and immediate need for healthcare providers to give patients the best possible online experience.

Accessing quality service remotely requires providers to have reliable, high-quality devices. Consequently, AVer has released its new MD330U and MD330UI medically certified cameras. These new PTZ cameras have been specifically designed and medically certified for telemedicine with the IEC 60601 Medical Certification. The first of their kind in the industry and a true revolution, the new cameras feature not only motorised remote-controlled pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) functionality but also removable camera heads to make 360-degree angle close-up shooting and snapshots an option.

The cameras deliver excellent image quality with a 30x optical zoom lens and outstanding 4K output resolution. Coupled with the ultra-clear 4K resolution imagery, the unparalleled optical zoom has autofocus with zoom speed to pick up even the smallest of details, designed to help professionals make a precise diagnosis. AVer understands that clear face-to-face communication is important to patients and doctors, so the cameras also feature artificial intelligence (AI)-powered noise reduction. In addition, the AI acoustics have integrated speakerphone and microphone with an all-in-one audio system.

The AVer MD330UI model also offers infrared (IR) for night view, helping to deliver the best quality care around the clock.
