Michael Lasa Exits Soundcorp

Michael Lasa: “After 29 amazing years at Soundcorp I feel that now is the right time for me to ring the bell and exit the business. As you may be aware, back on 23rd April 2019 Michael Rutledge, Sandy Rutledge and I sold our shares in Soundcorp to Diversified (US) which, along with the addition of Rutledge AV, makes Diversified one of the largest and most respected Audio Visual companies in the world. Something we are all very proud of and I personally look forward to seeing the Diversified team grow even further in the future.
“During my time with both Rutledge AV and Soundcorp I have worked on some amazing projects both locally and overseas and have had the pleasure of working with some of the best, most talented people in our industry. Throughout this journey I’ve made some lifelong friendships, created some great memories and experiences, travelled the world many times over, all whilst having fun along the way.
“Officially my last day will be Friday 29th November 2019 but I will of course be available to provide the team any assistance they may require. I am looking forward to spending some quality time with my family, travel, do some more travel and continue to tick off some of those ‘must do things’ from my bucket list before I explore any new opportunities some time in 2020.
“The day to day operations in the office will be handled by Kylie James (no introductions required here) whose role recently changed to Commercial Operations Manager. Kylie will be taking on parts of my role and has a great understanding of the business, clients and the people having worked with me for over the last 20+ years.
“Finally, I want to thank you all for your support during my time at Soundcorp, I have thoroughly enjoyed it and I wish you all the best for the future.”
