QUINTO ELEMENTAL LIVE STREAMING CHOSEN FOR AUSTRALIAN TENNIS OPEN

Quinto Communications has announced the supply of four Elemental 400 Series Live Streaming Encoders and two 200 Series Conductor Live Management Appliances to NASDAQ Australia who are facilitating streaming services on behalf of Perform Group UK who has the streaming arrangements with Tennis Australia during the Australian Open 2016, at Melbourne Park, Victoria.

This is the third year that Nasdaq Australia have used the Elemental Live Encoders from Quinto for live streaming of all key matches at the Australian Open and the solution includes 2:2 redundancy including four Elemental L453AE Live Encoders each housed in 1RU chassis with 20 CPU cores, Quad GPU, 6 Gig-E ports and 8 SDI/HDSDI inputs plus two Elemental C202AE Conductor Live Management, Monitoring and Failover appliances that can monitor and manage up to 25 live encoders in a single view.

Each Elemental Live main and redundant units are configured for eight  discreet SDI or HDSDI input channels with each appliance streaming up to 25 output profiles per channel at various bit rates for delivery to Tennis Australia.

Australian host broadcaster Seven Network has rolled out its 7Tennis app where connected devices can stream matches played on up to 16 courts simultaneously, with coverage spanning across Free to Air Television, online, mobile and tablet devices. Other select international broadcasters, content streaming providers and betting agencies will also be receiving the live streams of matches generated by the Elemental Live Encoders for streaming content in to their respective regions.
