SENNHEISER ANNOUNCE A “DIGITAL BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION”
At ISE, Sennheiser showcases its business portfolio and puts its focus on the topic of “digital business transformation”
Sennheiser presents selected solutions for presentations, meetings and conferences from the business portfolio at the booth. In a live demo room, visitors can experience the TeamConnect Ceiling 2 ceiling array microphone and the Sennheiser Control Cockpit software.
TeamConnect Ceiling 2 Ceiling Microphone
It’s highlight of the tradeshow, TeamConnect Ceiling 2, enables a smooth transition between virtual and personal meetings. The ceiling microphone features adaptive beamforming technology using its 28 omnidirectional microphones: The participants of the meeting can move freely in the room while speaking, while being focussed on by the microphone automatically. This new ceiling microphone seamlessly integrates into existing IP networks but can also be used with analogue conferencing systems. The microphone can be controlled through the browser based Sennheiser Control Cockpit software and is compatible with Dante Domain Manager.
Sennheiser Control Cockpit 3.0.0
Sennheiser announces an update for its Sennheiser Control Cockpit software, its remote control, monitoring and maintenance software for wireless microphone systems deployed in campus-style installations. The new version 3.0.0 will be available from mid-February and expands the functionality of the software to support the upcoming TeamConnect Ceiling 2 ceiling microphone. In addition, the software will now also support ew G3 and G4 IEM transmitters and provide additional settings for G3 and G4 microphone receivers along with improvements in usability.
Education solutions by Sennheiser
Another focal point of Sennheiser’s participation at ISE are its education solutions for organisations such as universities. The streaming system MobileConnect, for example, offers individual hearing assistance through smartphones by streaming audio content live and in exceptional quality via Wi-Fi to an app on the user’s own smartphone. On their smartphone, users can dial in individual sound settings and listen to the audio on headphones, via hearing aids or cochlea implants.
Sennheiser will also be displaying various wireless microphone solutions, including the SpeechLine Digital Wireless, evolution wireless 300 G4 and Digital 6000. This digital microphone series will be expanded with the availability of the SK 6212 mini-bodypack transmitter from March on. “We have developed this mini-transmitter hand in glove with our pro audio key customers, and the result is a new standard: compact, spectrum-efficient, and with a long battery life.” says Tom Vollmers, Senior Product Manager Pro Audio. Sound engineers will value the fact that despite its miniature size, the transmitter offers a fully-fledged user interface with an OLED display and function buttons. The SK 6212’s BA 62 lithium-polymer battery can be removed and recharged in the Digital 6000 rack-mount charger via the dedicated LM 6062 charging module.
