Sydney’s The Star Event Centre has welcomed seasoned industry expert, Steve Chezzi, as Technical Manager to lead its team of over 50 audiovisual event professionals.
With over 16 years of technical event management and broadcast experience, Chezzi brings knowledge working for a diverse range of clients in multi-disciplinary production and event environments. Having previously held senior technical positions at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and Efex Design and Creative, his expertise lies in delivering successful indoor and outdoor events, including live event broadcasts, gala dinners, conferences and product launches.
Steve Chezzi: “It is an exciting time to join the Event Centre. The Star’s commitment to invest half a million dollars annually into the latest AV technology ensures the venue will remain at the forefront of delivering superior technical event production, allowing us to think differently about how we use audio and visual elements to revolutionise events,” said Mr Chezzi.
In addition to Mr Chezzi’s appointment, The Star Event Centre recently welcomed industry leader Tim Jenkins as Senior Technical Producer in September 2016.
