The SDVoE Alliance today announced Teracue has joined the alliance as an adopting member. At ISE (RAI Amsterdam Feb. 11-14) on stand 12-H100, Teracue will showcase TAC-PLUS an innovative client server solution for routing and transcoding IP video streams with unicast, multicast, RTSP, SRT, HLS, and SDVoE inputs and outputs.

“Our goal at Teracue is to provide a wide range of IPTV possibilities with our product range and to extend the potential of our innovative Teracue Application Cloud,” said Thomas Buck, managing director at Teracue. “With SDVoE 10G input we bridge the gap between high-resolution, uncompressed SDVoE systems and the streaming world by distributing outgoing streams or recordings into LAN or OTT using standard protocols. For example, the SDVoE signals can be transcoded to HLS and thus made available for mobile devices.”

“Teracue is a very welcome addition to the SDVoE Alliance, adding important functionality to the SDVoE ecosystem,” said Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “We look forward to their help in spreading the adoption of SDVoE throughout the broadcast and streaming communities.”

All AV distribution and processing applications that demand zero-latency and uncompromised video can benefit from SDVoE technology, which provides an end-to-end hardware and software platform for AV extension, switching, processing and control through advanced chipset technology, common control APIs and interoperability. SDVoE network architectures are based on off-the-shelf Ethernet switches, thus offering substantial cost savings and greater system flexibility and scalability over traditional approaches, such as point-to-point extension and circuit-based AV matrix switching.
