Lumens' new UltraHD overhead camera offers huge zoom possibilities and unobstructed views

The new CL511 Ceiling Camera is Lumens’ first overhead camera, and is capable of 300x zoom and UltraHD output thanks to Sony’s 4K 1/2.8″ sensor. The CL511 is designed to be suspended from ceilings or embedded into roof spaces. This allows users to capture a dynamic overhead angle, and with cabling routed through ceiling panels the CL511 can deliver unobstructed views.
Overhead cameras provide a unique perspective, and they have a broad range of uses. This camera’s optical and digital zoom functions allow users a diverse range of situations to be captured; from large A0 sized architectural plans, maps, and technical drawings, down to precise medical training classes, culinary demonstrations, and other practical lessons where high levels of detail are required.
The device supports a wireless mouse to access onboard collaboration tools for spotlighting and annotating areas of an image without the need for additional software. Other features such as text overlay, 4K recording, and touch panel control are available via the Lumens Ladibug app which comes bundled with the camera.
The CL511 offers 4K UHD 30fps Resolution, 300x total zoom, and supports RTSP streaming and PoE+ and Central Laser Marking Positioning. Its USB and Ethernet video outputs allow it to be used with IP production systems such as OBS and vMix.
