Epson Joins the Circus

Seiko Epson Corporation (Epson) and its group company Epson America is supporting the creation of Cirque du Soleil’s latest production ‘ALIZÉ at Theatre am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, Germany, by providing projection technology utilising high-brightness projectors. As the official projector partner of Cirque du Soleil, Epson will deliver cutting-edge projectors that enable immersive visual expression to bring Cirque du Soleil’s creative vision to life and deliver a new experience to audiences.

Epson projectors, through the 3LCD system that leverages proprietary microdisplay technology, deliver bright, vivid images and have maintained a leading global market share for many years.

Recently, Epson has been focusing on the development and sales of high-brightness projectors to meet the robust demand for immersive entertainment experiences.

As the official projector partner of Cirque du Soleil, a global leader in live entertainment, Epson has helped realise immersive and creative visual expressions by utilising its innovative projector and projection technologies, as well as its extensive knowledge and experience cultivated over many years.

A major challenge in live entertainment is maintaining projection alignment. Epson’s very precise real-time calibration capabilities allow dynamic realignment as projectors are manually moved onstage and effortless adaptation to the diverse installation and placement demands, enabling seamless integration of visual into every corner of the theatre.
