The festival has showcased a variety of small to large scale lighting treatments and installations in its previous two years. Organisers say any type of lighting, AV or projection proposal is welcome “from a large-scale projection project, to a company offering lighting solutions, a lighting designer, or a new technology or innovation.”

Taking place from 7pm Saturday, 21 February until 7am Sunday, 22 February (and coinciding with Soundwave 2015), the festival aims to transform the city into a canvas for creativity with cityscape projections, art installations and performances. This year’s event drew more than half a million visitors and artistic director Andrew Walsh is expecting bigger crowds in 2015, telling media organisers are working to expand the event footprint to encompass even more of the city and improve pedestrian traffic.

To make a submission, go to the White Night link here, select the appropriate category and complete the form. If your contribution doesn’t quite fit into any of the categories, hit the Out Of The Box Projects link here. The closing date for submissions hasn’t been announced yet but it is expected to be late October.
