We are on a mission to bring more great products to market. To help do this we are expanding our product development capability. We are looking for talented product design professionals to join our team in Macquarie Park.

Atdec is a global business, headquartered in Sydney, Australia. We design and sell a wide variety of products for mounting computer displays — from adjustable, ergonomic desk mounts used in offices and major financial institutions, to large videowall systems for public spaces like airports.
We are the market leader for Australia & New Zealand and have distribution in North America and Europe.

We are looking for an experienced Designer with proven ability designing physical products for mass production. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, hard working, and results-focused. We have industrial designers and mechanical engineers on staff, our office space includes a workshop for prototyping and testing.

Candidates need a minimum of 3 years’ experience developing products, along with tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as: Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.

We are looking for people who can generate appealing concepts and develop these into functional, reliable, cost-effective products in a timely manner. You should be a self-starter and able to manage your own work as well as working effectively within a team.

The Product team handles all aspects of the design process from concept through to liaising with our factories. This is a hands-on role. You must be able to express ideas effectively and use various media appropriately, including: illustration, physical models, written and verbal communication. Very strong ability with 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) is a requirement.

This role may require international travel to visit manufacturing facilities. The majority of our vendors are in China. Applicants must be able to work in Australia.
