We’re not after someone who only sits behind a desk and “manages” things. We need a do-er.
Someone who loves rolling up their sleeves, running a team on site, and actually getting stuck into cabling, rigging, AV connections and problem solving – in equal measures!
At Factory Sound, we work across education, hospitality, corporate, houses of worship, theatres, museums, government projects and more.
Every day is different, and we thrive on helping our clients use AV tech to make their spaces work better.
The person we’re hoping to meet will:
– Lead installations of audiovisual + IT equipment on site
– Handle stock ordering, shipping, logistics and safety paperwork
– Report back on progress and flag resources needed to hit deadlines
– Spot opportunities to add value for our clients
– Take end-to-end responsibility for projects (and client happiness)
– You’ll need solid, hands-on experience with pro AV gear such as stage speakers, large-format speaker systems, audio DSPs, amps, projectors, LED walls, stage lighting/DMX, mics and wireless systems.
The good news? You won’t be doing it alone.
You’ll have the support of a clever technical team, warehouse crew, skilled installers and a management group that genuinely cares about both staff and clients. We work as a team, and we back each other up.
We’re a vibrant, tight-knit business and this role is based in our Melbourne office. That means variety, responsibility, and a good dose of fun along the way.
