TRIPLEPLAY OPENS ASIAN OFFICE
The UK’s Tripleplay has its eye on APAC, opening a new office in Singapore. The digital signage, IPTV and video streaming software supplier says the expansion is a key step to strengthen its position in the region.
“We have a number of blue chip clients in Asia in recent years and our reputation has started to spread. It became clear that the best way to support these customers and develop our business was to get our feet on the ground permanently,” says Tripleplay chief executive office Steve Rickless.
“Our Singapore office will work closely with our Australasian team to provide more comprehensive coverage in the APAC region. We are hugely excited by the prospects this gives our business and to building improved working relationships with our partners.”
The new office will be helmed by Carly Young as regional director for Asia. “I have known Tripleplay’s products for a number of years, having worked previously as a partner to the business,” Young says. “I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to be part of the future of the company as we look to grow our Asian business and strengthen our position as a leader in the development of digital media software solutions.”
Tripleplay has operated for more than a decade in the digital media marketplace with offices in the UK, Australia, South Africa and Europe.
