
Application Engineer
We are now expanding our operations in the APAC area and seeking an experienced Application Engineer to provide technical support and application expertise across APAC region.
🔊 Role Overview
As an Application Engineer for APAC, you will play a key role in delivering technical excellence to our clients, distributors, and partners. You will support the sales team with system design, product demonstrations, and field applications, ensuring our solutions are deployed to the highest standard. Your work will help strengthen our brand reputation as a trusted partner in the professional audio industry.
You will report to the Head of Sales APAC, and your responsibilities will include:
• Technical Support: Assist distributors, partners, and customers with product setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• System Design & Optimization: Provide expertise in audio system design, prediction software, and tuning to ensure correct product application.
• Training & Workshops: Deliver technical training to partners, rental companies, installers, and end users.
• Field Applications: Participate in product demonstrations, system commissioning, and technical support at live events and trade shows.
• Collaboration with Sales: Work alongside the sales team during customer meetings, presentations, and project evaluations, providing technical expertise to support business opportunities.
• Feedback to HQ: Collect technical feedback from the field and share with HQ teams (R&D, Product Management) to improve products and solutions.
Traveling: Availability to travel at least 50% of the time across the region to support partners and events.
Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as an Application Engineer, System Engineer, or Technical Specialist in the pro-audio industry, preferably in the APAC market.
• Current residence in a APAC country or willingness to relocate to one of those locations.
• Strong knowledge of professional audio systems: PA system design, acoustic measurement tools, DSP platforms, and simulation software (e.g., EASE, SMAART).
• Practical experience with system tuning, optimization, and alignment in live sound applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• A university degree in Acoustics, Audio Engineering, or related technical field is an advantage.
