Role Overview

This newly created strategic leadership role provides a unique opportunity to drive the company’s growth and shape its long-term success. Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to propel revenue growth, enhance market presence and establish strategic relationships across both Innomate and UXT. This role will manage the entire sales lifecycle, collaborating with the Growth Team to execute strategic initiatives. It involves overseeing Account Managers and working with various teams to ensure the smooth deployment of Innomesh and UXT’s services within client ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will lead business development efforts, enhance sales strategies, leveraging Innomate’s and UXT’s expertise to target sectors such as higher education, corporate, and government.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for both UXT and Innomate to achieve and exceed revenue targets, ensuring alignment with marketing, business development and customer acquisition strategies through close collaboration with the Growth Team.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team.
  • Implement strong sales disciplines by establishing clear processes, setting measurable targets, and maintaining a data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Understand client needs and articulate the value proposition and benefits of UXT’s managed service offerings to drive sales.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key verticals such as Higher Education, corporate, education and government.
  • Drive adoption of Innomesh by articulating its value proposition, ROI and competitive advantages.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, technology leaders, and key stakeholders while leveraging an existing network of industry contacts to generate leads and drive new business opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions to secure high-value, long-term deals.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline development, forecasting and market analysis.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation, working closely with customer success and technical teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in technology sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of AV, IoT, SaaS, or enterprise software sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, scaling sales teams and driving business growth.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build relationships at executive levels.
  • Deep understanding of working with CRMs and sales automation tools to track pipeline and performance.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, industry events and internal strategy sessions.
