Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Sydney. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, expanding market share, and nurturing client relationships across construction, interior design, IT consulting and audio-visual industries with the goal to increase market share for Vega Global. This role involves individual sales contributions, leadership, and strategic planning to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and engage prospective clients, maintain relationships with existing clients, and address their needs effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Audio-Visual products and services, effectively communicate product features and benefits to clients, and provide consultative advice to meet their needs.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for expansion. Analyze data to formulate strategies for market penetration.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, track sales performance, and generate reports to provide insights for decision-making.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations, manage contract discussions, and close deals in line with company policies and profitability targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales management within the Audio-Visual or Collaboration industries will be a valuable advantage.
- Understanding and experience with Global Enterprise, Education and Government Markets
- Strong understanding of audio-visual products, technologies and trends.
- Strong understanding of construction-based delivery processes for technology-based projects
- Existing relationships in the AV, IT and Construction industries
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with a team.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dedicated work ethic.
