We are seeking an experienced Event Staging Manager to join our Gold Coast team and take a lead role in the launch of a prestigious new 5-star luxury property in Burleigh.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity within the technical events and hospitality industry, offering the chance to be part of a high-profile venue opening in one of the Gold Coast’s most desirable locations.
As the Event Staging Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of event production — from concept to execution — delivering innovative and seamless audio-visual solutions. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you will ensure each event is executed to the highest standard and aligned with their vision.
Your workspace will be based onsite at the venue, just steps from the iconic Burleigh beachfront — blending a premium professional environment with an unbeatable coastal location.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the main point of contact for your clients
- Be the client’s go-to person, providing exceptional customer service.
- Create detailed technical solutions and proposals.
- Comply with internal sales processes
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the audiovisual department activities
- Provide onsite technical support for your clients (AV Technical experience required)
- Co-ordinate technical resources and support
- Manage the smooth operation of the AV department

What we’re looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Event Staging Manager, AV Technician or Equivalent.
- A proven track record in managing live corporate events.
- Exceptional planning, organisation, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, professional appearance and interpersonal skills with a focus on sales fitting for a 5 Star Venue.
- Strong leadership and customer relationship-building abilities.
- A solid understanding of audio, visual, and sound technology.
- Experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
- Working rights in the country where the role is based.
