The Role

Working with an industry leader, you will be involved in our AV/ICT operations, working on exciting projects and servicing our key clients. If you have AV or ICT experience, are hands-on and committed to customer service excellence and have a great work ethic, this could be your next career move.

We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and a ‘can-do’ attitude to help us to deliver first-class audio-visual solutions and installations for an impressive and growing client base.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Assisting in the day-to-day tasks of project work to ensure the following outcomes:

• Completing projects within budget and to a high standard
• Carry out safe work practices
• Client satisfaction of service and installations of AV/VC equipment
• Ensure quality standards and practices are maintained

Providing backfill assistance on:

• Service support to our clients by attending to onsite maintenance or service call outs
• Service call outs that involve fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Working with our existing team of Service Technicians to ensure smooth delivery of AV operations
• Providing technical and operator system training on both system installations and third party installed systems
• Documenting all service works performed, including client-initiated callouts and preventative service inspections

Role and Responsibilities

• Install Professional AV equipment
• Set out installation works according to specification and instruction
• Set out, cut and install of cables such as conduit, cable tray, ducting and wire systems
• Rack wiring, termination, monitoring, testing and labelling
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams, panel drawings and rack layouts
• Record and maintain relevant documentation pertaining to commissioning
• Line Test and Commission cabling systems, including field and inter-rack cabling
• Travel to regional and remote client sites when required to perform installation services
• Provide on-site training and mentoring to clients of installed AV product
• Observe WH&S standards ensuring all work is completed in a safe manner
• Maintain a high level of support and customer satisfaction

Candidates must have:

• Ideally have security clearance (e.g. Baseline, NV1) or must be an Australian Citizen for eligibility.
• Electrical license (desirable)
• Experience in Audio Visual, ICT or similar industry
• Experience with Audio Visual Equipment, power tools and rack wiring
• Experience in fault finding and sound problem-solving skills would be beneficial
• Test & Tag (desirable)
• Trade qualification in electronics, communications or audio visual or demonstrated equivalent is desirable.
• A passion for delivering great customer service.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A valid Driver’s License
