About the role
We are seeking a Junior DevOps & R&D Technician to help further our growth, while giving you the opportunity to hone and develop your skillset. You’ll discover and learn a diverse range of tech stacks in a progressive, supportive environment.
This is a highly diverse role—much more than the average DevOps role—where there will always be something new to get stuck into. You’ll get to work on systems for everything from 2″ electronic price tags all the way to outdoor LED billboards.
Working directly alongside the Tech Lead, you’ll discover a role much more varied than most. Some of the work will include:
- Developing new features for our flagship products
- Building bespoke, customer-specific applications such as interactive kiosks
- Testing and evaluating third-party hardware and software
- Maintaining our hosted VPS infrastructure, internal IT systems, and internal tools
- Integrating with hardware such as screens, LED controllers, e-tags, and control systems
- Writing integration middleware for third-party systems

Our tech stack
We develop and work on many hardware platforms including Windows, Linux, Android, webOS, Tizen, and other vendor-specific platforms.
We primarily work with JavaScript, Go, and PHP, but there are opportunities to work with many other languages and frameworks.
We don’t expect you to know everything—just be willing to learn as you go.
