We work across hospitality, healthcare, education, retail, sports, commercial and major mixed use development projects, helping clients develop technology strategies and deliver practical, integrated solutions.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Technology Consultant / Project Lead to join our team in Brisbane.
The Opportunity
This is a key role within our growing business and is suited to someone who wants to progress beyond traditional engineering design into technology consulting, project leadership and client advisory.
You will lead technology projects from early strategy and planning through design, tender and delivery, working directly with clients, architects, engineers, contractors and technology vendors.
You will have the opportunity to work across a range of technologies, including:

- Data centres and critical infrastructure
- Technology integration and operational systems
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ICT, AV, Security and digital infrastructure projects.
- Develop technology strategies, masterplans and design solutions.
- Engage directly with clients and understand their operational and technology requirements.
- Manage design development from concept through to tender and construction.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and specialist consultants.
- Prepare and review reports, specifications, schedules and technical documentation.
- Lead design workshops and client presentations.
- Provide technical advice and peer review.
- Assist with project proposals, fee preparation and business development.
- Identify opportunities to expand ARP’s services within existing client relationships.
- Mentor and provide technical direction to junior and mid-level staff.
- Contribute to the development of ARP’s technology standards, methodologies and intellectual property.
About You
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with excellent communication and consulting skills.
You will ideally have:
- 8–15+ years’ experience in ICT, AV, Security, ELV or digital infrastructure consulting.
- Experience working on major building projects.
- Strong understanding of technology infrastructure and systems integration.
- Experience dealing directly with clients and project stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to develop practical solutions rather than simply follow standards.
- A commercial mindset and interest in developing client relationships.
- An Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering.
Experience in hospitality, healthcare, education, retail, commercial or major infrastructure projects would be highly regarded.
Professional qualifications such as RCDD, CTS, CCNA or equivalent are advantageous but not essential.
