Product Trainer – Talent X / BenQ

Full Time - Sydney, NSW.

You’re brilliant with people, you’re very social and enjoy meeting new people and having a chat.
You are highly organised, love problem solving and helping people have that ‘ah ha!’ moment.
You want a role where you are valued and appreciated for your skills, something that gets you in front of a wide range of people, but also that gives you great work/life balance and where you can ‘switch off’ outside work.

This role is a vital one for BenQ and deals with its Interactive Flat Panels, that replace white boards/chalkboards in schools. You will be meeting with people/clients and demonstrating the features and benefits of the product.

Your job will mainly involve going out and visiting schools, to show the teachers and channel partners what they can do with the product. It completely transforms a classroom and you get to watch the teachers become excited and inspired by what they can achieve with these products.

This isn’t just another desk job, you will be coordinating with state managers to manage the quarterly training schedule and conduct them accordingly. You’ll be responsible for coordinating application training and resolution of technical issues and act as the first line receiver from such tasks and enquiries.

The company is willing to take on someone with the right attitude and guide them to develop into the role. The Managing Director said: “People are not born with grit, resilience or tenacity, people pick it up through years of development. That’s what we’re looking for.” The company has quite a flat structure where the staff are empowered to really own their roles. They have a low staff turnover with long tenures.

This role requires basic IT, hardware and software knowledge, and isn’t asking for a lot, but if you think you have the fundamentals and are the ‘go-to IT wiz’ amongst your friends and family, then you have what it takes.

The role is full time, but does come with travel — going  to see clients, with interstate travel about once a month. When you’re not on the road, you’ll be in-house in Westmead, just off the M2 and only minutes from Westmead station. The role comes with a car allowance and fuel card.

If you feel this could be a good fit for you, please apply now!
