ATLONA EIGHT-BUTTON NETWORK KEYPAD
Atlona has introduced a new eight-button network keypad that’s designed for quick installation and remote configuration. The Model AT-ANC-108D utilises Power over Ethernet so requires just a single cable for both signal and power.
Eight soft-touch backlit buttons act as a remote IP-based controller to send commands to the switcher. The switcher responds to the commands or conveys them via RS-232 to control other devices, such as video displays.
“While many of our switchers feature our Advanced Automated System Control (AASC), which offers seamless display powering and source selection, many presenters still face situations where they want a tactile means of changing inputs, operating displays and adjusting volume,” said Joshua Castro, Atlona product manager. “The AT-ANC-108D provides a quick and cost-effective point-of-control solution.”
The AT-ANC-108D is configured and managed via the Atlona Management System (AMS). Specially designed for IP-controllable Atlona products, AMS eliminates complex control system programming, reduces installation time and enables remote monitoring, software updating and support.
The AT-ANC-108D’s compact and shallow depth fits into a US one-gang junction box for easy placement in walls or switch enclosures built into tables and cabinetry. In cases where powering by PoE isn’t practical, it can also be run by an optional external 5V DC power supply.
