BLACKMAGIC GETS BUSY

Blackmagic Design released a host of new products and updates at IBC2013. The new ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K is available. SmartScope Duo 4K is a new updated model of the SmartScope Duo that now includes 6G-SDI connections. HyperDeck Studio and HyperDeck Studio Pro get machined metal front panels with the HyperDeck Studio model now having a built in power supply. DaVinci Resolve 10, currently available as a beta, is a major upgrade that includes new features for integrating the workflows of multiple different software products used in the film and television industry. Three new models of Blackmagic Design mini converters with 6G-SDI connections have been released for use with any SD, HD and Ultra HD workflows. HyperDeck Software has been updated to version 4.0, which adds additional ProRes formats to the HyperDeck Studio Pro model. Finally, Blackmagic Design announced Desktop Video 10, a major software update for the UltraStudio 4K and DeckLink 4K Extreme capture and playback models.
