Neo Lighting Control Console for web

Philips Strand Lighting has announced its NEO expandable control system. NEO includes features implemented after years of research and development at Strand Lighting HQ, including a graphics display, an effects ‘timeline’ feature allowing drag and drop to create timed sequences, and floating windows allowing the operator to configure their views in the way they want to see things, making it easier to find information. Philips claims NEO is “the closest that a designer can get to actually touching the light”. Shows are secured on a “Mission Critical” grade SQL server, ensuring no data loss, and boot time is reduced with high speed solid state disk drives, making the NEO console robust for everyday and touring use. Every NEO lighting control console also benefits from Philips’ Advantage DMX model which allows the operator to patch Philips Entertainment and Color Kinetics brand luminaires without consuming the console’s purchased DMX outputs. With Philips Advantage DMX, it’s possible to control thousands of Philips luminaires at no additional cost or output license limitations. More info is at www.neocontrol.net
