OSPREY TALON G1H ENCODER/RECORDER

Osprey Video continues its track record of cost effective AV peripherals with its dedicated H.264 Osprey Talon Encoder. Introduced in 2017, the Osprey G1H is an incredibly small, dedicated encoder for all of your network streaming needs. The Talon G1H in particular can take any 1080p HDMI feed and stream it to multiple locations, whether that is Facebook, Youtube, Wowza, or otherwise. API Control is also built into the unit, allowing for easy remote HTTP start/stop/destination changes via control systems.

What sets the Talon G1H apart is its cost effectiveness — similar encoders can easily be double or triple in price, and do not allow for easy API control or access. Osprey also continues to improve upon its products post-release. Just recently, the Talon G1H now allows for network recording of its encoded streams, providing a streaming and NVR solution at the same time.
