Crestron has announced the release of its TSCW-730 touch screen control system, a complete, space-saving control solution in one compact wall mount device. The TSCW-730 suits environments with limited space such as conference rooms and hotel rooms, with a built-in 3-Series control processor and 7-inch color touch screen delivering a control solution for audio, video, lights, shades, heating, air conditioning, security and more.

Built-in H.264 video and Rava SIP intercom capabilities eliminate the need for a separate video intercom panel, and mounting options allow installation on a wall, table, or mounted to virtually any flat surface — even glass, granite, or marble.

“Using the TSCW-730 you don’t need to homerun control cables back to a central rack,” says Crestron technology manager Byron Wendling. “Better still, you don’t need a rack or additional furniture to house the control system. Installations don’t get any cleaner than that.”

Onboard Ethernet and Cresnet ports provide connectivity for integrating a roomful of equipment, and connecting to a building’s network. Expanded connectivity is available using C2N-IO control port expansion modules, wireless gateways, and other Crestron interface products. The capacitive color touch screen display provides an intuitive, customisable user interface, with advanced smart graphics technology for fluid gesture-driven controls, kinetic effects, animated feedback, rich metadata, embedded apps and widgets, and streaming video.
