We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic candidate to join the Midwich team as our Samsung Product Sales Specialist. This role is ideal for those looking to make a major breakthrough in their career, as you will work closely with the world leader in display technology. As a Samsung Product Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving product adoption and success, using a deep understanding of Samsung products to provide expert guidance to both internal teams and external customers.

Reporting to the APAC Sales Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • To drive Samsung sales initiatives from concept to execution, utilising a deep understanding of Samsung products and features
  • Be the primary point of contact for Samsung product/technical related inquiries, in order to assist purchasing decisions.
  • Activation of new resellers into trading Samsung accounts
  • Identification and pro-actively engage with slipping accounts to maintain their business with Samsung
  • The conduct of regular product demonstrations and training sessions to educate internal sales teams and customers on the value of Samsung products
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams – Product Management, Marketing, Sales & Customer Service
  • Ensuring accurate forecasting across both required inventory and sales out (pipeline)
  • Overseeing and maintain the Samsung bid system, liaising between Samsung and internal teams.
  • Supporting sales team with customised solutions and proposals, product advice and recommendations
  • Gathering feedback directly from customers to identify areas of improvement
  • Staying up-to-date on market & consumer trends, competitor products and technologies
  • Providing monthly report to Samsung & Midwich management teams to facilitate Samsung product development and strategies

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years B2B account management experience within AV or IT
  • Highly driven and motivated for team success
  • Excellent communicator across both verbal and written
  • A proven track record of building and developing customer relationships
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to deliver focused results in a fast-paced sales environment
