Peanut Productions is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Event Manager to join our Melbourne team as maternity leave cover for a period of 12 months, with the opportunity to be ongoing. This is a role for a commercially minded, hands-on operator with a minimum of 8 years’ end-to-end event management experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
You’ll be trusted to lead exceptional projects for some of the biggest and most recognisable brands in Australia and the world. From global conferences and national incentive programs to high-profile gala dinners and product launches, this is an opportunity to step into a role where your work is seen, celebrated and remembered.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale corporate events, from concept to execution
- Manage project timelines, scopes and budgets with rigour and precision
- Oversee junior staff across allocated projects
- Build detailed run sheets, schedules and risk management documentation
- Lead client, supplier and stakeholder communications
- Manage event content, graphics and video workflows
- Develop pitch presentations and budget estimates for new business
- Travel for site inspections, event delivery and client meetings as required
What You Bring
- 8+ years’ experience in event management, including 2+ years at senior level
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client-facing skills and commercial acumen
- Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail
- Experience with registration platforms, event websites and mobile apps
- Degree in event management, marketing, business or similar
