About The Role
We are looking for an AV and workplace technology support superstar to fulfil an onsite support role for a large CBD client. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the client’s own technology support team and interface directly with various levels of management. The main function of this role will be to lead support for 100+ Microsoft Teams video conferencing rooms spread across multiple sites. The rooms are predominantly Crestron Flex (some with Crestron control) and some are Logitech (with Q-SYS control). The role will require some amount of travel to visit sites across and outside Sydney (a pool car will be made available for use for this purpose). The successful candidate will be the senior person of a 2-person team.
Utilising our client’s ITSM tool (ServiceNow) you and your teammate will be responsible for triaging, solving and closing off tickets as they arise, and will work proactively to prevent further issues occurring as well as ensuring all systems are up to date. A dedicated “lab” is provided onsite for testing prior to rolling out updates etc. You will report directly to our client on a day to day basis, but will have escalation paths within Merge for assistance and support as required.
Skills You Need To Bring
The successful candidate should have:
- Extensive Microsoft Teams Rooms technical experience
- Previous experience working with and supporting conference room technology
- Previous experience working with Crestron MTR
- Previous experience working with Crestron XiO Cloud
- previous experience supporting complex AV systems in corporate environments
- In-depth knowledge of AV technology support processes and workflows
- Proven ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms issues and faults
