Earthworks has introduced the LumiComm Touch Ring microphone range designed for permanent table top installation. Integrated into the microphone, the LumiComm Touch Ring consists of a dual-colour LED light ring and a touch sensor output, providing integrators to assign function and LED colour with a media control system. The IML microphone is a back-electret condenser that features a cardioid polar response and a flat 30Hz-30kHz frequency response, allowing orators to maintain the same intelligibility at the front and sides of the microphone without a reduction of high frequencies. IML models come standard with RF shielding, cardioid polar pattern, 4.5 inch body, black finish, touch sensitive surface and dual-colour (red & green) LED light ring. They are available with 3, 6, 10 or 12 inch goosenecks, with the primary applications for the IML Series including boardrooms, teleconferencing, distance learning, and government facilities.
