KDS-100 is ideal for any space or use case requiring real-time, high-quality video presentation or simplified dual streaming capabilities, such as operations rooms, university auditoriums, command and control centers, and AVoIP distribution deployments. You can stream video content in two different quality formats (also called primary and secondary streams) using a single encoder device, saving the costs of having a separate one for each format. Real-time dual-format encoding is ideal when content needs to be presented in high quality (primary stream) on a local display, as well as sent in standard quality for presentation at a remote site or to a recording device (secondary stream). Typical applications include hybrid or recorded university lectures, and command centers where content from in-room cameras is both presented and recorded. If needed, both streams can be of high quality.
